I read a couple of great books this week (well, read one, finished one I've been working on for awhile). If you like paranormal, and you like mysteries, you simply must read Samantha Hunter's new book, Past Tense. It's already priced very reasonably at $3.99, but she's also decided to throw in one of her paperback romance novels to the first 20 people who email her the invoice from Past Tense - a smokin' deal! Details are here and you can get your copy of Past Tense (and read my review) here. Sure, Sam's a friend, but she has no clue I'm posting this, and I truly loved the book and am looking forward to the next one. I think anyone who likes paranormals will really like it too. Check it out.
The book I finished this week was Terminal Freeze by Lincoln Child - if you like adventure/thriller novels, you need to pick this up *now*. It's fabulous, loosely references the Pendergast novels he co-writes with Douglas Preston, and will have you sitting on the edge of your seat the whole way through this arctic adventure. A word of warning - probably not a book you want to read before bed if you plan on sleeping...but a treat, all the same.
I'll be updating my Goodreads page (no really) with reviews of several books I've read this month tomorrow night. I just started Immortal Outlaw by Lisa Hendrix, and next Thursday is payday - which means I'll finally have some new romance novels to read (including the lovely Cari Quinn's new novel, Ex Appeal, released just yesterday).
So....read any good blog posts/books lately? Feel free to leave recommendations in the comments....
