Weekly News & Goals 9/20/10
The bi-weekly newsletter went up yesterday – you can check it out here, and drool over that yummy Desert Heat cover again. There's also an excerpt from later chapters of The Biker's Wench, and a quick announcement about my NaNo project for this year. Fun stuff. I can't wait for November, but there's much to be done before then!
This week I'm hosting a special guest on Tuesday – Michelle Davidson Argyle is making a stop here on her blog tour for Cinders, her recently released novella. It's a fabulous book, and she's giving away some very fun/cool prizes, so be sure to stop by and say hi!
Lest you're worried about the serial chapter – I'll be posting that Monday evening so you'll get it a little early.

Goal Reports
I made good writing progress last week aside from a couple really late night starts. Didn't get as much revising done as I would have liked, but it's my own fault for not taking better advantage of time here and there. The Biker's Wench is on a roll, which is very groovy since I hope to have enough written ahead that I won't have to work on it in November. I'm going to have to get moving on the DH revisions this week and next, since I need to have those done and ready for editing in mid-October.
As for personal goals, I made good strides with the Halloween invitations, and will be working on finishing those up this week. Got some decorating done too, and decided on this year's activity as well. I failed at laundry and my "be healthy" initiative, though I did take the stairs every day at work, which is good exercise. I'm almost finished with A Reaper's Tale, and I couldn't resist starting The Wicked Lady by Julia Knight – so far a fabulous "lady pirate" story. I have to confess, I took time out to read Turn it On by Vivian Arend...which is simply fabulous and left me most impatient for the next one.
The fall TV season starts this week...which has me in a bit of a productivity bind since I simply *must* see what happens on the premieres of my favorites. My "must see" list this week includes House, Chuck, Castle, NCIS, Criminal Minds, Bones, and The Mentalist. I'm all shivery in anticipation...

I got a jump on the new season by getting sucked into a new show call Lost Girl. I'm really looking forward to Castle tonight, and later in the week Bones, NCIS, House, Chuck, and True Blood.
Good thing I can type and watch T.V. at the same time.
